Conscious breathing describes the act of developing a soft awareness of your breath as it moves in and out of your body.

Breathwork is to use breath awareness and conscious breathing for healing and growth, personal awakening, and transformation in spirit, mind and body.

Through practice you can achieve calmness, focus and improved energy, as well as improved sports performance and recovery from clinical respiratory illnesses as well as many other benefits.

'THE WHY'

I have been a personal trainer and Strength & Conditioning coach for over 10 years.

 Like many, during lockdown in 2020 I suffered with anxiety and mental health problems. 

And this was something I was seeing more and more of within clients, family and friends.  I wanted to do something to help, so I went deeper into my own breathwork practice. Exploring different styles and looking deeply into the science that backs the benefits of daily breathwork and meditation.

From here began my passion with the power of breathwork,

how it has massively improved my health and wellbeing, and those around me. 

Now as a certified Wim Hof Method,  Buteyko and Oxygen advantage coach, and also teaching more traditional techniques, my goal is to share these skills through movement, breathwork and hot and cold therapy so more people can live Happier, Healthier, Stronger Lives.

'THE HOW'

 Oxygen Advantage and Buteyko are a program of simple exercises designed to retrain your breathing whether its for health or sports performance. The focus is on light, slow, deep breathing which targets the biochemistry and biomechanics of the body. Combine this along with other modern powerful energy techniques like the Wim Hof Method and more traditional Pranayamas, you'll learn how effective, efficient and energizing and powerful breathwork can be.

 

I offer group or team workshops, classes, and in person or online one-to-one sessions, tailored to each client's specific needs.
